Kazakhstan’s Agency of International Development “KazAID” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, is organizing a program “Dostyk – Digitalization” to develop digital skills for civil servants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
From 1 to 5 April 2024, 20 civil servants will participate in training at the Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Nazarbayev University, which includes courses in English on digital governance and e-government, expert meetings and a cultural program. Course attendees will learn about the possibilities of digital transformation of public administration and share experiences with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Singapore.
As speakers invited professors from Nazarbayev University – Associate Professor of the Higher School of Public Policy Dr. Aziz Burkhanov, from the College of Public Service of Singapore – Associate Professor Mr. O Koon Tian, and a representative of “National Information Technologies” JSC – Director of Product Promotion Department Mr. Askar Sinchev.
Mid-and senior-level civil servants who are actively involved in digital transformation and in the development of national policies of their countries in this area have been selected to participate in the program.
Training on the program is provided to participants on a non-refundable basis thanks to the grant provided by the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID”.
